The following technical issues have been resolved in ColorProof 184.108.40.206. Please note that the list describes the original problem, not the solution.
Print sequence "From input file (XMP)" instead of "From OpenColor ProofStandard"
Generated workflow jobs behaved differently after the update of 220.127.116.11 to 18.104.22.168. Workflows in which no print order was defined, generated jobs with the print order "From input file (XMP)", whereas before, in version 22.214.171.124, generated jobs had the sequence "From OpenColor ProofStandard" if the print order was not defined in the workflow. [UK-11073]
The same error occurred with manual jobs: after the update the job default was "From input file (XMP)".
Issues with channel mapping rule set
The channel mapping rule *Line --> Map to db3 was applied to the spot color 'Pantone 281 C Line' (correct) and as well to the spot color 'Pantone 281 C' (wrong). [UK-10766]
The channel mapping rule set Yellow Wash --> Map to db3 was not applied. [UK-10875]
PDF without spot colors errors with message ‘Spot color not found’
A PDF which did not include spot colors could not be printed in ColorProof. The error message was: “Spot color ‘gray’ is not found.” [06376, 06617]
Remote proofing: 'Proof standard referenced in job ticket is not recognized'
Some remote jobs errored with the message: 'Proof standard referenced in job ticket is not recognized'. This happened if the remote system contained a proof standard with the same name as the originating ColorProof. [UK-10922]
Remote proofing: Error for Epson x900 remote jobs with job label, rotated images and different measurement device (LS20/ILS30)
There was an issue in remote proofing between sites with different Epson x900 internal measurement devices. Workflow jobs with a job label and automatically rotated images showed an error on the remote site if the remote Epson x900 had another internal measurement device type (e.g. main ColorProof with ILS30, remote ColorProof with ILS20). The error was: "Job Preview: Image(s) outside printable area". [UK-10744]
MJM - Option ‘Fill gaps’ was not saved in the default settings
The activated setting ‘Fill gaps’ in the printer settings of the manual job manager was not saved in the default settings.
Duplicated jobs were not printed if the first job was cancelled
If a job in the ColorProof job list was duplicated multiple times (using the right-click duplicate option) and the original job was cancelled during printing, the consequence was that the copies were not all printed. A printer restart was required to have all copied jobs printed. [US-20839]
1-Bit Control Strip could not be created
A screened GMG Spot Color Control Strip V2.0 for ILS30 could not be created in ColorProof.
