If you have a paper jam, please check the following:
- Re-seat the SpectroProofer.
- Check for debris inside SpectroProofer and printer housing. Sometimes paper may curl up inside the SpectroProofer.
- Reload the media (roll).
- Make sure the correct setting is chosen on the printer panel (i.e. don’t select sheet instead of roll where applicable).
- Restart the printer.
On Epson 4900, please make sure the three legs on the paper catcher are lowered. It is better to have the tray fully closed and let the proofs fall to the floor, rather than build up on the tray.
On larger Epson models, please make sure that the paper basket is lowered. Otherwise, paper can build up at the exit and cause a blockage.
