GMG CoZone 2.0
GMG CoZone has been updated to a new version.
GMG CoZone 2.0 – New features
This version provides a more seamless integration into 3rd party systems, enhancing the user experience with a more convenient login process and the possibility to switch from the default SMTP mail server to any desired mail server such as Google Mail.
Single Sign-on (SSO)
With SSO integration, users do not have to memorize additional passwords, but can log into one system and thus be logged into other systems automatically. If GMG CoZone is integrated into another system, the usage across the two systems can now be made much more convenient. The SSO can be configured via Auth0 and SAML.
Custom SMTP Mail Server
To better monitor and control all notifications sent from GMG CoZone, you can now configure your own e-mail system for use in GMG CoZone. With this feature, e-mails sent by CoZone will be immediately recognizable as coming from a known source (e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org) and processed through your e-mail server instead of using the default e-mail server.
To provide more control over subsequent approval phases, the notification function has been extended, taking the due dates of individual phases and user responses into account. If the due date of a phase is now exceeded without having being approved, notifications will be sent out either to the primary decision maker or, in case of an approval group, to all users who have not yet made a decision. If no phase deadlines are defined, only the project deadline will trigger a notification (as before).
Improved Version Compare
A redesigned Version Compare now displays the latest selected version on the right side, not on the left.
